Melbourne International Fee Remission Scholarships (MIFRS)

The Melbourne International Fee Remission Scholarship (MIFRS) is awarded to international students wishing to undertake graduate research degree studies at the University of Melbourne. MIFRSs are funded by the University with each faculty having a limited number to award.

Sheffield Halam Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship

Sheffield Halam University hereby announces scholarship position for intending undergraduate and postgraduate students. This scholarship is open to international students from non- EU countries.

The scholarships will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement on their scholarship application form. Successful applicants will be awarded with a certificate to mark their achievement following enrolment on their course. If you are a high achiever or believe you can make a significant contribution to our University, we encourage your application.

  • The scholarships include a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time taught postgraduate courses and 50% tuition fee discount for each year of an undergraduate course (subject to successful progression). Eligibility


To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must

    postgraduate only – have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your honours degree and must meet the minimum course entry requirements. Please attach transcripts to scholarship applications.
    undergraduate only – you must achieve or exceed the entry criteria for the course.
    have an unconditional/conditional offer to study a full-time postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University. Find out how to apply for a course.
    be enrolling on a one year full-time taught postgraduate course with Sheffield Hallam starting in the 2013/14 academic year
    be self-funding your studies
    have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all areas) or equivalent*
    be classed as an international student for fees purposes
    be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, for example field trips

The panel will be held after the closing date and applicants will be notified approximately one month after this date using the contact details on the course application.

* Please note that IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all areas) or equivalent is the minimum English language requirement to be eligible for the scholarship and that the English language requirement for entry onto some of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses may be higher.

Autodesk 123D Design Challenge

This competition is open to people between the ages 13 and 18. It works like this
Eligibility
 The contest is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry, are registered members of the site, who are at least thirteen (13) years old (eighteen [18] years old for residents of Germany), and are legal residents of the 50 united states (excluding Puerto rico), Canada (excluding the province of Quebec, Canada), united kingdom, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, India, new Zealand or Switzerland. If on the start date you are a "minor," meaning that you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (currently 18 or 19 in most US. States, and provinces of Canada and Australia; 18 in Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, India, and Switzerland; and, for the up, 16 in Scotland and 18 in most other parts of the united kingdom), you must obtain permission from your parent or legal guardian, and your parent or legal guardian must consent to be bound by these rules as if he or she were an entrant, before you submit an entry. Sponsor reserves the right to require minors to submit proof of parental/guardian permission and consent to these rules at any time, without which they may be immediately disqualified from the contest

Snap Style and Share Auto desk Competition

This  is an on-line contest with skill, ability and knowledge components that is sponsored by Autodesk, Inc. The objective of this competition is to  to take a picture and edit it using Autodesk’s Pixlr® Express app. The edited picture should be enhanced using at least three of the editing options available in Autodesk’s Pixlr® Express app. The participant should submit two pictures: the before picture with no editing and the after picture enhanced with Autodesk’s Pixlr® Express app.

Quota Scheme Scholarship in Norway

Research which UK universities/courses you wish to attend as you must include three of these on your application (in order of preference) and demonstrate why you believe these are the right courses for your career.

You should apply to your chosen universities at the same time as submitting your application for a Chevening Scholarship.

Research the English language requirements for your chosen courses – they are almost certain to have higher requirements than the minimum requirements for applying for a Chevening Scholarship. Plan how you are going to meet those requirements.

Think about who you will nominate as referees on your application. You are required to nominate two referees.

Nigeria Australian Award

Nigerians have been undertaking studies in Australia sponsored by the Australian Government since 2010 and, since that time, 92 Nigerians have received scholarships to study in Australia through Australia Awards.
