PhD scholarships at Zurich Graduate School in Switzerland

This scholarship is for doctoral studies at Zurich Graduate School. Scholarship is for any of the courses offered at the university.Students accepted into the programs will receive a comprehensive and challenging Ph.D. education that will allow them to develop into tomorrow's leaders in biological research. If that sounds like fun, then you are the type of student we are looking for.

Requirement


To be eligible for the Ph.D. programs of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School, applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent from a university in the field of natural sciences, medical sciences, computer sciences or engineering. Applicants admitted to the programs will have to register with either the University of Zurich or the ETH Zurich, depending on the affiliation of their future mentor.

Award covers tuition and living costs.

2013 MUSTE UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Melbourne International Fee Remission Scholarships (MIFRS)

The Melbourne International Fee Remission Scholarship (MIFRS) is awarded to international students wishing to undertake graduate research degree studies at the University of Melbourne. MIFRSs are funded by the University with each faculty having a limited number to award.

Eligibility
Open to international students
To be considered for a MIFRS applicants need to apply for scholarship and candidature in a graduate research degree course (eg. masters by research, PhD or other research doctorate) at the University of Melbourne. Further
information concerning the eligibility criteria can be found in the conditions.

Applicants who submit a complete application for admission and scholarship by 31 October 2013 will receive a RHD scholarship outcome before 15 February 2014

ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR SCHOLARSHIP

This is an essay based scholarship for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Nigerian and foreign universities.

Requirement:
Applicants must be a Nigerian with a valid university admission

Applicants should submit an essay titled:

More Learning to More People: How can Nigeria be more innovative in bridging its literacy and skills gap?

Entries must be in English, and be between 2,000 and 5,000 words

Entrants must avoid plagiarism  and should be prepared to present themselves for an oral defence of their work (should the need arise).
Plagiarism will result in instant disqualification of the affected entry. Essays will be judged for grammar, clarity, coherence and a focus on solutions. (While it is important to highlight the problems and challenges of education in Nigeria, the essay should primarily focus on innovative problem- solving)
