These entrant scholarships are for international students who will be studying at St Andrews for an undergraduate degree starting in 2014. The scholarships will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction of up to £4,000 per year for each year of the student's undergraduate

Oxford Commonwealth Scholarship

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is a joint initiative between the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the University of Oxford to support students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the United Kingdom.

Bangor University Master’s Scholarship for International Students in UK, 2014

Owing to the demand for places, Bangor University is to offer January entry to selected taught postgraduate courses in January 2014.

UCL Overseas Research Scholarships

The UCL Overseas Research Scholarships (UCL- ORS), aim to attract high-quality international
students to UCL to undertake research. Approximately 40 UCL-ORS awards are available annually. Eligibility Requirements Applicants must be: in receipt of an offer of admission to (please see IMPORTANT NOTE below) or currently registered at UCL on a full- or part-time research degree programme, and; liable to pay tuition fees at the overseas rate

Graduate Research Scholarships for Cross-disciplinary Training (One-Year)

Up to four scholarships annually are available to full-time UCL MPhil/PhD and EngD students from any country wishing to spend an additional year of their MPhil/PhD or EngD in another UCL department acquiring research skills and knowledge from a different discipline, which can be applied in their normal area of research. Training should be of one year's duration to permit sustained exposure to the new discipline. 

The scholarships can be taken at any point during the MPhil/PhD or EngD programme.

Durham International Senior Fellowships

The EU-sponsored Durham International Fellowships for Research and Enterprise (DIFeREns) allows Durham University to gather together scholars, researchers, policy makers or practitioners from around the world and across the full spectrum of science, social science, arts and humanities to address themes of global significance in collaboration with Durham's Research Institutes and researchers.

Undergraduate Scholarship at University of Kent

This scholarship is for undergraduate studies at Kent University. Scholarship covers only part of tuition. Scholarship is worth about 5000 pounds.Applicant must have received an offer to a place on such a degree course; and demonstrated ability to fund their programme of study. The scholarships will be worth £5000 per annum towards the cost of tuition fees (for up to three years of study) and are offered to nationals of any country paying international fees. The Pershing Square Foundation Scholarship

The Pershing Square Foundation has endowed up to five fully funded scholarships each year for the MBA component of the 1+1 programme, which will help extraordinary individuals to develop and realise their potential as future global leaders who are committed to addressing world-scale social challenges. The Pershing Square Foundation has made a gift of £4.5m to endow the Scholarships in perpetuity. The University of Oxford has provided a further £3m under the Oxford Graduate Scholarship Matched Fund, taking the total Scholarship funding to £7.5m. The first five Oxford Pershing Square Scholars will join the 1+1 MBA programme in Autumn 2014.

2014-2015 Louis Dreyfus-Weidenfeld Scholarship for Developing Countries

SHELL NIGER DELTA POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is for students from the Niger Delta for masters degree studies in some selected UK Universities. Ten scholarships are awarded annually, and these are in partnership with three  internationally recognised universities in the United Kingdom: Imperial College London, University College London and the University of Leeds.

Sheffield Halam Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship

Sheffield Halam University hereby announces scholarship position for intending undergraduate and postgraduate students. This scholarship is open to international students from non- EU countries.

The scholarships will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement on their scholarship application form. Successful applicants will be awarded with a certificate to mark their achievement following enrolment on their course. If you are a high achiever or believe you can make a significant contribution to our University, we encourage your application.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships you must

    postgraduate only – have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your honours degree and must meet the minimum course entry requirements. Please attach transcripts to scholarship applications.

    undergraduate only – you must achieve or exceed the entry criteria for the course.

    have an unconditional/conditional offer to study a full-time postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University. Find out how to apply for a course.

    be enrolling on a one year full-time taught postgraduate course with Sheffield Hallam starting in the 2013/14 academic year

    be self-funding your studies

    have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all areas) or equivalent*

    be classed as an international student for fees purposes

    be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, for example field trips

The panel will be held after the closing date and applicants will be notified approximately one month after this date using the contact details on the course application.

* Please note that IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all areas) or equivalent is the minimum English language requirement to be eligible for the scholarship and that the English language requirement for entry onto some of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses may be higher.

Scholarship applications for taught courses starting in September 2013 applications must be submitted by 30 June 2013. Scholarship applications for taught courses starting in January 2014 must be submitted by 1 November 2013

This scholarship offers students to pursue a masters degree in the UK. It also provides  networking opportunity

Award
A Chevening Scholarship in Nigeria includes: a monthly stipend, travel to and from your country via an approved route, an arrival and excess baggage allowance, a thesis or dissertation grant, the cost of an entry clearance visa and tuition fees (a global tuition fee cap of £12,000 will apply for MBA courses).

Read the Guidance for Applicants.  Ensure that you meet the Chevening eligibility criteria and consider how you can demonstrate that you meet the Chevening selection criteria in your application.

All applicants will need to meet our minimum English language requirement by 23 June and further details on how you can fulfil this are available in the Guidance for Applicants.
If you are required to take an English language test and do not have a valid English language certificate then please consider booking an English language test date now.

Research which UK universities/courses you wish to attend as you must include three of these on your application (in order of preference) and demonstrate why you believe these are the right courses for your career.

You should apply to your chosen universities at the same time as submitting your application for a Chevening Scholarship.

Research the English language requirements for your chosen courses – they are almost certain to have higher requirements than the minimum requirements for applying for a Chevening Scholarship. Plan how you are going to meet those requirements.

Think about who you will nominate as referees on your application. You are required to nominate two referees.
